Moose Pond Camp is located at the Northern Entrance to Baxter State Park and the Katahdin Region. It is only 5 miles to Shin Pond or Patten.
This is a great area for hiking,
canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hunting
and snowmobiling. There is a groomed snow
mobile trail from
the camp that leads to
ITS 81 or 85.
The camp has quiet peaceful surroundings if you want to just relax and enjoy the serenity. With a small pond in front, it's not unusual to see a moose.
The cabin sleeps 6-8 people with 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, fully stocked kitchen and a comfortable living room. It has a front porch overlooking the pond.
